The secret island - Sisä-Hattu

Located at the southern tip of Lauttasaari, in the middle of the sea, Sisä-Hattu is a secret island that can be reached during low water by wading with almost dry feet from the eastern edge of Lauttasaari's outdoor recreation area. On the island, you can find old petroglyphs, watch cruise ships passing by or listen to the waves hitting the cliffs. Sisä-Hattu is a different kind of island adventure and a chance to look at your hometown from a new perspective. For an island adventure, you should reserve water-resistant footwear, as the waves also carry sharp stones onto the passage.
